Explore our full range of tutoring programs across Years 2–12, including AE, OC, Selective, HSC, and more.
Year K-1
Kindergarten and Year 1 lay the essential groundwork for all future learning. At this stage, children develop key skills like basic literacy, number recognition and early communication, while also building curiosity and a love of learning.
These early years are about exploration, confidence and forming positive learning habits that set the tone for everything to come.
We only offer in-home 1 on 1 sessions for Kindergarten and Year 1 students. Please note that we do not book more than a single 1-hour session per week for K-1 students, so as to not overwhelm them.
Year 2
Year 2 is a key transitional stage where early learning turns into real independence. Students begin moving beyond simple recognition and recall and start developing stronger reading comprehension, number sense and written expression.
It’s not just about putting in more effort – it’s about learning how to learn. The habits built in Year 2, like focus, resilience and consistency, form the foundation for success in Years 3-4 and beyond.
AE
Abacus & English
Our AE program for Year 2 lays the foundation for academic success in primary school and beyond. It’s ideal for students who want to build strong core skills early and confidently excel at a higher level in advanced Years 3-6 exams, including NAPLAN, OC and Selective.
We focus on strengthening the basics to support long-term achievement.
We Cover:
Mathematics:
- Builds confidence with mental maths, basic operations and simple word problems
- Introduces early concepts of mathematical application

Years 3-4
Years 3-4 are a crucial window for developing the habits, mindset and core skills that shape a child’s long-term academic journey. At this stage, students move beyond basic literacy and numeracy into deeper comprehension, structured thinking and independent learning.
Strong foundations built now make future learning easier, more confident and more effective. This is the age where students learn how to learn – setting the tone for high performance in later years.

OCTTC
The OC Trial Test Course (OCTTC) prepares students in Years 3-4 for the Opportunity Class Placement Test by providing weekly practice under realistic test conditions. It provides weekly full-length practice exams in 4 test components, with structured reviews and performance tracking.
Unlike many OC programs that overload students with full exams from the start, our OCTTC course is paced alongside what students have learned in AE, TEM and 3/4 FE. Topic variance and difficulty increase gradually, so students are only tested on content they’ve already been taught. This approach builds confidence early and allows students to steadily improve without feeling overwhelmed.
Every fortnight, students complete 4 full-length trial exams covering:
- Mathematical Reasoning – Timed problem-solving, pattern and number logic, multi-step working
- Thinking Skills – Logical reasoning, elimination strategies, identifying assumptions and valid conclusions
- Reading Comprehension – Varied form texts, with a focus on inference, tone and identifying key information
- Aptitude Tests – Exam-style time pressure; question strategies, under constraints
Structure & Delivery
- Weekly test papers with time limits matching the real OC format
- Immediate review of all questions and answers with tutors
- Strategy discussions for difficult or commonly misunderstood questions
- Weekly score tracking in each subject area
